Comedian Dave Spikey returns to the live arena this autumn for a further series of side splitting Punchlines performances! Dave who reprised his role as Jerry “the St” Sinclair as part of Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights live shows for Comic Relief earlier this year. Delivering punchlines with the quick one-two of a comedy champion, the multi award-winning Dave Spikey is one of the most sought-after comic talents in the UK today. With a career spanning more than two decades, he has numerous TV appearances under his belt as a stand-up comedian, presenter and actor – and behind the screens as an acclaimed comedy writer.

Headliner - Archie Kelly

Archie Kelly is best known for his comic portrayal of Kenny “Dalglish” Senior in the award winning Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights. He has also appeared in a number of popular TV shows including another award winning series, Jimmy McGovern’s The Street However, it is a live performer that Archie excels.

An early career as a singer/comedian on the Northern club scene lasted for fifteen years and gave him a wealth of experience on stage as an all-round live entertainer.

He continues to act and perform regular stand-up and is in much demand on the corporate circuit. A cheeky, inoffensive and highly interactive style has endeared him to audiences both here and overseas.

Patrick started off on the glamorous Irish/Iranian/Geordie stand-up circuit where he developed his warm, friendly, lively story telling style.

He is a comedy festival regular and has performed his solo shows in cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leicester and Manchester and also at most major venues throughout the UK, year round.

He has appeared on numerous Television shows from BBC1, 2, 3 to ITV1 and 2, C4, Channel 5, Sky 1 and UKTV, as a presenter, guest interviewee, panel member and performer on shows such as:
BBC 1's Bafta award winning 'Friday Night Jonathan Ross', "The Catherine Tate Show", and "The Kumars at No.42".

Headliner - Steve Royle

Steve Royle is an actor, writer, comedian, juggler, and a regular presenter on BBC Radio Lancashire. His Saturday morning 9 til 12 show means he is now a treat for both cochlea and cornea alike.

Last year saw Steve’s stand-up work go ballistic. He is a regular headline act at The Comedy Store and other “alternative” venues, performed alongside Steve Coogan & Peter Kay at the Apollo Theatre Manchester, and landed a role in channel 4’s “Max & Paddy’s Road To Nowhere”. In addition, he appeared in “The Laughter Show” at the North Pier Blackpool with more traditional comics Mick Miller, Roy Walker, & Duncan Norvelle. He also appeared on Granada Programmes “Behind The Scene” and “That’s Entertainment” (with Cannon and Ball) and was voted “Entertainer of the Year” at the inaugural Red Rose Awards.
